1. What FireBid processes
FireBid processes information needed to provide and secure the service, including account identifiers, email address, contractor-profile data, service territory, capabilities, certifications, licenses, experience, saved pursuits, workspace activity, alert preferences, support requests and subscription-entitlement state.
2. Procurement-source data
FireBid also collects and transforms public procurement information from government and other public-sector procurement sources. That material may include public buyer contacts, solicitation metadata and procurement documents. FireBid keeps provenance and integrity information so derived intelligence can be traced back to source evidence.
3. Why the data is used
- Authenticate and protect your FireBid account.
- Build company-specific opportunity matches and qualification analysis.
- Store pursuits, workspace state and alerts you request.
- Operate subscriptions, plan limits and customer support.
- Detect failures, abuse and security problems and improve reliability.
- Process source documents and generate evidence-backed intelligence.
4. AI processing
FireBid may send bounded procurement-source content and the minimum contextual information needed for a requested intelligence task to an AI service provider. FireBid's document pipeline treats procurement content as untrusted data, applies source and evidence controls, and does not need to send your payment-card details to AI providers.
5. Service providers
FireBid relies on infrastructure providers to operate the service. This currently includes Supabase for database/authentication/storage, Vercel for application hosting, Paddle for billing and merchant-of-record services, and OpenAI for selected AI-assisted analysis. These providers process data for the functions they perform and under their own security and privacy obligations.
6. Payment information
Payment details are collected by Paddle Checkout and are not stored by FireBid. FireBid stores only the customer/subscription identifiers, plan, subscription status, price identifier and related billing timestamps needed to grant the correct account access and reconcile signature- verified Paddle events. Historical Stripe identifiers may remain for legacy billing records, but Stripe is not FireBid's current self-serve checkout provider.
7. Access controls and security
FireBid uses authenticated sessions and database row-level security so ordinary users can access only their own account-scoped records. Provider secrets and privileged database credentials are server-only. Procurement documents that influence intelligence are subject to integrity and trust checks before they can be used by current V4 intelligence or production matching.
8. Retention
Account and workspace information is retained while needed to operate your account, meet security or billing obligations, resolve disputes and maintain service integrity. Public procurement evidence may be retained longer where necessary to preserve historical solicitation provenance and explain prior FireBid decisions. Retention periods may vary by record type and applicable legal obligations.
9. Your choices
You can update contractor-profile and preference information through the product and can cancel an eligible paid subscription through the billing portal. For requests concerning account data, correction, access or deletion, submit a support request. Some records may need to be retained where required for security, billing, dispute or legal obligations.
10. International processing
FireBid's infrastructure and public procurement sources can operate in multiple countries. As a result, service data may be processed outside the country where you use FireBid, subject to the safeguards and legal requirements applicable to the relevant provider and processing activity.
11. Changes and questions
Material updates to this notice will be reflected by a new effective date and, when appropriate, an in-product notice. Privacy or data-handling questions can be submitted through the FireBid support page.
